According to Faik Fahmi, during the limited operation period, Ngurah Rai Airport will continue to serve scheduled commercial flights. AP I appealed to prospective air travelers to adjust their air travel schedule.
"We also urge prospective air travelers who will travel during the limited operation period on November 14 and 17 to coordinate with airlines, especially because there is the potential for changes to the scheduled commercial flight schedule that adjusts to the flights of delegates from the G20 Summit," Faik Fahmi remarked.
Faik Fahmi said, in addition to operational adjustments related to flights, AP I collaborated with the Bali Provincial Police to adjust traffic access around Ngurah Rai Airport between November 14 and 17, 2022.
It has the purpose to facilitate the arrival of delegates and facilitate access to land transportation from the airport to the location of the G20 Summit.
Regarding traffic access arrangements at the airport, the two lanes of Jalan Raya Ngurah Rai Airport which are in front of the PT Angkasa Pura I Administration Building to Taman Bundaran I Gusti Ngurah Rai, as well as access to Jalan Raya Tuban will be temporarily closed for November 14 and 17.
AP I asked for understanding and appealed to the public to comply with this provision for the smooth running of the entire series of the Bali G20 Summit.
"The airport operational adjustment is aimed at supporting the smooth implementation of the G20 Bali Summit, especially about aspects of security, safety, and smooth flight handling for delegates," he concluded.
