According to Roger Federer’s statement, the Laver Cup next week in London will be his final ATP event. He will play more tennis in the future but just not in Grand Slams or on the tour.

When he was young, Federer was known as a tennis player who had a temperamental attitude. Many said, Federer has a lack of discipline when on the court.

However, over time, Federer changes. He became one of the world's top tennis players who are used as role models by young children.

Even when he got the injury, Federer can still excel in professional tennis. For him, leaving the world of tennis was a bittersweet decision and he will miss it.

“This is a bittersweet decision because I will miss everything the tour has given me. But at the same time, there is so much to celebrate. I consider myself one of the most fortunate people on Earth.” Roger Federer wrote in his statement

“I was given a special talent to play tennis, and I did it at a level that I never imagined, for much longer than I ever thought possible,” Roger Federer added.

Although this decision will be tough, Roger Federer has left many happiness memories for the tennis world and his fans.
