VIVA – Nusa Dua Bali has receives various prestigious awards at national and global levels. The Nusa Dua area is successful in the planning and development of the green area. Nusa Dua is an eco-friendly and sustainable for tourist destinations in Bali.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Information who is also Chair of the Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) Mira Tayyiba said Nusa Dua was chosen for the implementation of the Presidency and the summit of the G20 Summit in November 2022.
"This location is an area known as a tourist destination with beautiful views, white sand beaches, and the best lodging on the Island of the Gods," Mira Tayyiba remarked on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
In the 1960s, the area at the southern tip of the island of Bali was a limestone hill with two peninsulas or peninsulas separated by the sea.
In its development, the Nusa Dua peninsula was united with access that was connected by land route.
"At that time, this area was not a popular place to live, because the land alone could only grow coconut trees, pure water was limited, electricity availability was still very difficult and rare, and roads, as we encountered today, did not exist," Mira Tayyiba explained.
In 1970, the Government of Indonesia together with the Balinese people and parties from various sectors began to plan an integrated model and formed the Bali Tourism Development Center (BTDC) which is now as the Indonesia Tourism Development Center (ITDC).
"People may have seen white sand beaches, beautiful sea views, and lush gardens in the middle of luxury resorts, which clearly describe Nusa Dua as one of the most luxurious locations on the island of Bali," Mira remarked.
Mira Tayyiba explained this when welcoming the 4th Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) delegation at the Mulia Resort Hotel, Sawangan Village, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.
