BWF World Championship: Temporary List of Indonesian Athletes

VIVA – PP PBSI has released a temporary list of Indonesian representatives to participate in the 2022 BWF World Championship which will be held on August 22 to 28, 2022. Women's Doubles Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi are the newest representatives to be invited by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Ana/Tiwi are confirmed to appear in the tournament which will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo, after PBSI confirmed their participation.
"We received good news from BWF, namely that Indonesia has received one additional representative at the 2022 World Championship on behalf of Febriana/Amalia from the women's doubles," Head of Public Relations and Media of PP PBSI, Broto Happy remarked, in an official statement received by VIVA.
"Obviously, we confirm the participation of Ana / Tiwi. This is an additional weapon in the women's doubles sector after Ribka Sugiarto / Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Nita Violina Marwah / Putri Syaikah," Broto Happy added.
Previously, Indonesia had received additional representatives through Putri Kusuma Wardani in the women's singles sector. However, currently Putri KW is undergoing a Women's Police education.
PBSI also continues to communicate with the police, so Putri KW can compete at the 2022 World Championship.
"We continue to communicate with relevant parties so that Women can be involved in the 2022 World Championship. In fact, this tournament will be very important for the Women's experience in the future," Broto Happy remarked.
