Less than 24 Hours, Tickets for Indonesia Open 2022 are Sold Out

VIVA – The Indonesia Open 2022 comes back after two years of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This tournament will be held in Indonesia. So, the enthusiasm of public to watch this competition is very high because in less than 24 hours, tickets for the BWF World Tour Super 1000 badminton tournament, Indonesia Open 2022 have sold out.

"We have allocated 70 percent of the tickets for the audience of Istora's capacity, this has also been cut for production purposes," said PBSI's Head of Public Relations and Media, Broto Happy in an official statement from PBSI.

"After opening yesterday at 12 noon through online sales on the PBSI web and Loket.com, within 16 hours all tickets in all categories and all days were sold out," added Broto.

Broto also said that the organizing committee would still sell match tickets offline on match days.

"On the spot tickets will still be available in the arena on match days with a quota of 10 percent," said Broto.

The organizing committee can't wait to welcome Indonesian badminton lovers back to Istora Senayan. They hope that the matches held at the Indonesia Open 2022 can bring excitement to the audience.

"We can't wait to welcome Indonesian badminton lovers back to Istora after two years of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic," said Broto.

"We hope that the exciting, magical, majestic and lively Indonesian Open will be able to enchant the audience again. Don't forget that we are still carrying the sportainment theme. So, apart from badminton matches, there will be lots of entertainment," added Broto.

The Indonesia Open 2022 will be held on June 14-19, 2022 at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta. The championship, which provides a total prize of US $ 1,200,000 or around Rp17.6 billion, is ready to be attended by all the world's top players.
