VIVA – The woman who has the title of the world's oldest human, Kane Tanaka from Japan has died at 119 years. Statement by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare of the country confirmed this.

She was born on January 2, 1903. She died in western Japanese city of Fukuoka, on Tuesday, April 19. Kane Tanaka has a title from Guinness World Records in 2019, and once said that having the title of world's oldest person by Guinness World Record is the happiest moment in her life.

This woman fought against cancer twice and witnessed two pandemics - the 1918 Spanish flu and COVID-19. She has died because of age-related complications and is going to heaven in peace.
