Odd Even Traffic Not Valid in Jakarta During Eid al-Fitr Holiday

VIVA – The Department of Transportation DKI Jakarta has deactivate the odd-even rule on 13 roads in the capital during the Eid al-Fitr holiday from April 29th to May 8th, 2022.
"Odd even not valid in Jakarta, starting April 29th, during a national holiday, then joint day off," said the Head of the Department of Transportation DKI, Syafrin Liputo in Jakarta, Monday, April 25th, 2022.
The Department of Transportation Jakarta has issued a decision letter 218 of 2022 concerning about Odd-Even Technical Instructions.
In the third provision letter b, it stated that odd-even is not valid on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays stipulated by Presidential Decree. "Automatically on May 9th, there will be another new arrangement because work has started," he said.
Previously, there were 13 roads that implemented odd-even in Jakarta, namely:
1) M.H. Thamrin Street;
2) Jenderal Sudirman Street;
3) Sisingamangaraja Street;
4) Panglima Polim Street;
5) Start from Fatmawati Street to crossroads Ketimun 1 Street until crossroads TB Simatupang Street;
6) Tomang Raya Street;
7) From Jenderal S. Parman street to crossroad Tomang Raya Street until Gatot Subroto Street;
8) Gatot Subroto Street:
9) M.T. Haryono Street:
10) H.R. Rasuna Said Street;
11) D.I. Panjaitan;
12) Start from Jenderal A. Yani Street to crossroad East Bekasi Street until crossroad Perintis Kemerdekaan street; and
13) Gunung Sahari street
The odd-even rule is enforced Monday-Friday from 06am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 9 pm.
The odd-even ticket in Jakarta handled automatically through the e-TLE camera. The police asked the public to ignore the ticket if they received an odd-even electronic ticket during the period April 29th until 8th May.
