Kalikangkung Toll Gates Starting to Fill Up With Travelers

VIVA – Today morning, Kalikangkung Semarang toll gate fill up with travelers coming home to celebrate eid al-fitr with their family. Although not too crowded, a number of private vehicles with luggage on the hood of the car seemed to have passed since the pre-dawn meal and shubuh prayer.
Dominated by Vehicle Number Plates from Jakarta
Cars that pass from west are dominated by vehicle license plates from Jakarta, West Java, Banten, as well as cars with regional license plates in Central Java.
One of the drivers from Jakarta, Wisnu, said that he departed from the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road at night. Then, rest in the rest area 391A of the Batang-Semarang toll road.
After eating pre-dawn meal and praying at shubuh, he and the other continued their journey to East Java.
"It went smoothly, there was no traffic jam. Maybe it's still the beginning of the homecoming flow. Thank God, I got a day off, so I can go home early and not get stuck," he said.
Travel Car
Not only Mudik’s vehicles, there are also pretty much monitored to pass are travel cars. They carry some passengers back hometown.
