VIVA.co.id - Ajang Penghargaan Grammy 2016 yang diselenggarakan di Los Angeles, California, Senin, 15 Februari 2016 waktu setempat baru saja usai. Total terdapat 80 piala yang diserahkan kepada para musisi berprestasi.
Penyanyi rapper Kendrick Lamar, mendominasi penghargaan dan membawa pulang sebanyak empat penghargaan, termasuk satu yang ia bagi bersama Taylor Swift. Karya-karya Lamar juga masuk kedalam 11 nominasi Grammy tahun ini.
Swift sendiri menyabet penghargaan sebagai album terbaik. Ini adalah kali kedua albumnya mendapatkan piala Grammy. Sementara itu, lagu Thinking Out Loud milik penyanyi asal Inggris Ed Sheeran meraih penghargaan sebagai lagu terbaik.
Ini adalah piala Grammy pertama Sheeran. Begitu pula dengan Justin Bieber, yang untuk pertama kalinya meraih penghargaan Grammy untuk nominasi album dance terbaik, lewat kolaborasinya bersama DJs Skrillex dan Diplo dalam lagu Where Are U Now.
