Military Officer Breaks into ATM Machine

VIVAnews - One of the perpetrators of an ATM robbery who was arrested by the police at Jalan Plumpang Semper, Koja, North Jakarta this morning is actually a corporal second-class of Indonesian Military (TNI). The perpetrator initialed M is still being questioned at the North Jakarta police station.
"Of nine perpetrators, only one (is a military officer), and we immediately handed the investigation files to the respective unit," said North Jakarta Police Head of Criminal Investigation Division, Adjutant Chief Comr Irwan Anwar, Sunday.
Meanwhile, the mastermind behind the robbery managed to escape. During the arrests, Irwan added, a shootout between Y and the police officers occurred. "One actor Nana was shot in the left shoulder," he said.
The robbery targeted the Muamalat Cikeas Branch Office’s ATM, located on Cibubur alternative road, Bogor, West Java. "From the bank manager’s testimony, the ATM contained cash amounting to Rp152.85 million," said Irwan.
Police captured three suspects, namely Nanang (33), Fadil Karwita (43) and M (33). The two civilian suspects were directly handed over to the regional police, while the military officer will be handed over to his unit.
